The History of the National Fund for the Protection and Promotion of Investments

The National Fund for the Protection and Promotion of Investments was established on August 14  2012, when it was entered in the state register of the Ministry of Justice. The launch of the fund is considered to be on July 19 of the same year. It was then that far-sighted Alexander Oleinik turned his desire into action to provide business with investment support opportunities.

Experienced in public administration, the fund’s founder also has a clear understanding of the intricacies of financing and completing investment transactions; importantly, he had seen first-hand the problems businesses often faced when launching projects. All too regularly really worthwhile business projects, needed by the country as well as its citizens, did not develop due to insufficient financial support.

All this prompted the creation of a fund that would look for investors, promote them in Moldova and protect investments for business development.

The team developed a strategic development plan and created a fund according to the country’s laws and constitution.

Now any citizen has the opportunity to receive support for the implementation of their ideas.
